Frequently Asked

The quiet
practical details.

A few honest answers to the questions guests most often ask before we begin.

Answers
When is the best time to visit Tanzania?

The dry season from June to October offers the most predictable game viewing and the northern Serengeti river crossings. January to March brings the calving season in the southern Serengeti. We are happy to shape a journey around whichever chapter of the year most excites you.

How far in advance should I book?

For peak season (July to October), we recommend planning nine to twelve months ahead to secure the finest camps. Shoulder seasons often allow for shorter lead times, though six months remains ideal.

Is Tanzania safe?

Tanzania is one of Africa's most politically stable countries and a welcoming host to travellers. Our team, ground handlers and guides are vetted, insured, and available around the clock throughout your journey.

What is included in your quoted prices?

Our starting prices typically include accommodation, all meals on safari, park fees, private guiding, transfers between destinations, and a dedicated concierge. International flights, visas and travel insurance are quoted separately.

Do you arrange Kilimanjaro climbs?

Yes — we offer private, ethically operated climbs on the Lemosho, Machame and Northern Circuit routes, with careful attention to acclimatisation and porter welfare.

Can you accommodate dietary or accessibility requirements?

Almost always. Please share your requirements early and we will match you to lodges and camps that can host you well.
